Welcome to the Newbery Club Wiki!
This wiki is a place where you can record your thought, opinions, and questions about books you have read. You can also have discussion with other members about books.
As part of the Newbery Club, you have agreed to share your experience with books. Part of our expectation is that you use this wiki to share that experience in between meeting times.
Before every meeting, we expect you to write a short comment about the book you chose to read. Short does not mean that little thought is put into it. Short means we don't want you to review the entire book.
    For example:
    This book was cool.
That is not a very deep entry.
I thought it was weird that Claudia and Jamie could survive in old York City for a week on $24.43 in The Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. That would never be possible today!
Two sentences that show a deeper thought about the book. A much better entry.
The second expectation we have is that you comment on at least 2 other entries before our next meeting. Examples of things to comment on may be: questions you have about a friends entry, connections you can make if you read the same book, comments about being persuaded to read a book by a friends entry.
The goal we have by creating this Newbery Club is to give you a better idea of what it takes to win a Newbery and let your voice be heard on who you think deserves it. We also like to have fun so thank you for deciding to join us!
